Objective
Vidro Stained Glass is a company in Japan owned by artist Takako. Takako has some really impressive work and is very talented at what she does, just look at her stained glass.
Takako came to us requesting a new logo and branding to give her company appeal along side her stunning works.
The Results
Vidro had no previous branding and Takako wasn’t sure on the direction of her new branding apart from colour (Blue). We wanted to design a sophisticated brand that gave an upmarket feel.
We began to start tracing stained glass photographs in search of a vector that I could use as an icon in the logo. After finding the perfect icon we matched it up with the classy ‘Playfair’ typeface. To apply colour we found a royal looking blue and paired it with a expensive gold colour. The gold colour was then applied on the business card with metallic paint to give it some shine.
