Vidro had no previous branding and Takako wasn’t sure on the direction of her new branding apart from colour (Blue). I wanted to design a sophisticated brand that gave an upmarket feel. I began to start tracing stained glass photographs in search of a vector that I could use as an icon in the logo. After finding the perfect icon I matched it up with the classy ‘Playfair’ typeface. To apply colour I found a royal looking blue and paired it with a expensive gold colour. The gold colour was then applied on the business card with metallic paint to give it some shine.
